Hunter Fisher, Coach
Coach Fisher is the dedicated Varsity Men's Lacrosse Head Coach at Marietta High School with significant experience in fostering athletic excellence. With a strong foundation in education, he has applied his educational principles to his coaching style, bridging the gap between academics and athletics. His commitment to his team is demonstrated through consistent successes on the field, and his goal of winning a State Championship is ever-present in his leadership. Beyond game strategies and physical training, Coach Fisher places a heavy emphasis on maintaining a + 3.75 team GPA, ensuring that his players are academically successful. His coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in promoting mental, physical, and academic well-being, seeing each player as a whole individual rather than just an athlete. Since 2015, Coach Fisher has coached at several schools, including Cherokee, Lakeside, Druid Hills, Campbell, and most recently Marietta High School. Going into his ninth year coaching, fourth year teaching, and second year as a Head Coach, he brings a growth mindset to every situation.
