Zach Pinson will be joining the Dirty Birds Lacrosse Coaching Staff for the 2024 season. Zach is the current Defensive Coordinator for the Woodstock High-School Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Team. The 2024 Spring season is his 2nd consecutive year in the role. In his inaugural season with Woodstock, in the Spring of 2023, he helped coach the team to a 6A Sweet 16 appearance. Woodstock High-School is his Alma Mater. He was a 2-year Captain on the Woodstock Men’s Lacrosse Team & was named an All-County Player. In college, Zach was a 5X NAIA National Champion with the Reinhardt Men’s Lacrosse Team. Reinhardt won four championships with him as a player, as well as a fifth championship with him serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach in the Spring of 2022. He was a 2-year Captain, 4-year Starter, & was named 4X as an All-Conference Player during his tenure at Reinhardt. His Junior year in college he was the NAIA Champion of Character, as voted by opposing Coaches throughout the league. Reinhardt’s combined record was 80W-4L, the 5 seasons he was there. They went undefeated his Senior season on the field. Zach graduated college Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.0 GPA, & furthered his education with an MBA in business communications. When Zach is not coaching lacrosse, he works for Autodesk within their tech sales team.
