Whitney Damrau, Program Coordinator

Whitney-Damrau-Program-Coordinator

Whitney Damrau serves as the Program Coordinator for Dirty Birds Lacrosse, stepping into the role in 2024 after years of deep involvement with the program as a dedicated team parent. Whitney has two sons in the program — one on the 2031 team and the other on the 2033 team — both of whom have been part of Dirty Birds since the program's relaunch in 2022. A native of East Cobb and graduate of Walton High School, Whitney earned her degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. Her involvement with Dirty Birds began on the sidelines, supporting teams for over seven seasons, where her leadership, attention to detail, and genuine ability to connect with families made her transition to a staff role a natural fit. Since joining the staff, Whitney has restructured and elevated the collaboration between coaches, players, and parents — fostering a strong sense of community and consistency across all age groups. Prior to Dirty Birds, Whitney built a 13-year career in product and sports marketing, serving as an Account Director at boutique agency SteelePlus and global advertising firm TracyLocke, where she worked with major brands including Fiji Water, Home Depot, ESPN, FOX Sports, Georgia-Pacific, and Pizza Hut. Her work has earned multiple ADDY Awards, and her branding campaigns have been featured in national publications and college textbooks as examples of effective marketing strategy. Whitney is married to her husband Tyler, and together they have two sons and a golden retriever named Penny Lane.
