Steff Duckett, Coach
Coach Stefan Duckett was named Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Shorter University in 2024, bringing a championship pedigree, a strong player-development background, and a faith-driven leadership style to the Hawks’ program.
A native of Holly Springs, GA, Duckett played at Reinhardt University from 2020–2024, where he was part of two NAIA National Championship teams. Known for his relentless work ethic and high lacrosse IQ, he was a key contributor on and off the field in sustaining Reinhardt’s tradition of excellence.
At Shorter, Duckett is building a culture rooted in accountability, discipline, and spiritual growth. He believes in coaching the whole athlete—mind, body, and spirit—while preparing young men to become servant-leaders who live out their values on and off the field.
Beyond Shorter, Duckett also coaches with Dirty Birds Lacrosse, continuing to mentor youth and high school athletes with the same passion and energy that fueled his playing career. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Shorter University and brings a unique perspective that blends leadership, management, faith, and athletic performance.
