Coach Matt Meeks, a Roswell, GA native, began playing lacrosse at age 12. He started his high school career at Roswell High School before transferring to The McCallie School, where he played close defense and LSM. He also competed in multiple club lacrosse seasons, gaining valuable experience at a high level of play.

Matt began his coaching career in 2019 with Roswell Youth Lacrosse and has since coached with Cherokee Youth Lacrosse, the Etowah Middle School Program, and currently the Marietta Middle School Program. Since the relaunch of Dirty Birds Lacrosse, he has been a key part of the program, bringing energy, experience, and a passion for developing young athletes.

Outside of lacrosse, Matt teaches high school science and math at Furtah Preparatory School in Acworth, GA.
