Kobi Leonard, Coach
Kobi Leonard joined the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2026, bringing a decorated collegiate playing career and a service-oriented professional background to the program. Kobi played his early collegiate career at Berry College, where he earned All-Conference honors in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), before transferring to Pfeiffer University — where he was again recognized as an All-Conference player in the USA South Conference and was a key contributor on the 2025 USA South Championship team. Throughout his collegiate career, Kobi competed in the NCAA National Tournament, gaining the kind of high-stakes experience he now translates directly into his coaching approach. He graduated from Berry College in 2024 with a degree in Exercise Science and continued his education at Pfeiffer University, where he is currently pursuing his MBA with a focus in sports leadership. Off the field, Kobi serves full-time with Henry County Fire & Rescue as a Licensed Advanced EMT — a role that demands the discipline, composure, and service-oriented mindset he carries into every team and every athlete he works with. On the coaching side, Kobi began his career with ATL South from 2020 to 2023, where he helped develop foundational skills in young athletes across the metro Atlanta area, and in 2026 joined the North Atlanta coaching staff — continuing his commitment to growing the game at every level. With a foundation rooted in athletics, business, and emergency services, Kobi emphasizes discipline, accountability, and resilience in his coaching philosophy — and his passion for developing well-rounded athletes both on and off the field makes him a natural fit on the Dirty Birds sideline.
