Jean-Luc "JL" Brown, Coach

Dirty Birds Lacrosse Coach - Jean Luc Brown

Jean-Luc "JL" Brown joined the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2024, bringing 17 years of experience in the game and a playing background that set him apart from an early age. JL played two years of Division I football and lacrosse at Mercer University, where he earned Academic All-Conference honors and the SoCon Commissioner's Medal — recognition reserved for student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. Transitioning into coaching, JL made an immediate impact at Pace Academy, contributing to their Lacrosse State Championship run in 2022. He currently serves as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator at Pace Academy, where he continues to shape one of the top programs in the state. Off the field, JL works with the Atlanta Hawks as a membership service consultant — combining his passion for sports with a commitment to exceptional service. He is excited to continue making an impact through Dirty Birds and looks forward to developing the next generation of Atlanta lacrosse players.
