Hunter Coleman, Coach
Hunter Coleman joined the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2024, bringing elite-level faceoff expertise and a decorated collegiate career to the program. A 2021 graduate of Etowah High School, Hunter was a four-year letterman who earned All-County honors in 2019 and 2021, Second Team All-State in 2021, and team MVP his senior season — all while posting a 68% career faceoff win percentage. At the University of Alabama in Huntsville, he became one of the most accomplished faceoff specialists in program history — earning Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, back-to-back First Team All-Conference selections, and setting UAH all-time records for career ground balls and faceoff wins. He graduated from UAH in 2025 with a degree in Exercise Science. Coach Coleman brings a hands-on, technically precise approach to his coaching — particularly in the faceoff and groundball game — and his competitive resume and genuine enthusiasm for the sport make him a standout addition to the Dirty Birds staff.
