Daniel Woodbury joined the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2025, bringing a unique perspective as both a former player and a certified lacrosse official. A Cobb County native and 2023 graduate of Hillgrove High School, Daniel was a four-year varsity standout who earned Defensive Player of the Year as a junior, was named team captain as a senior, and was selected to the All-Cobb County Team. He competed at the travel level with FCA, Crossfire, and the Atlanta Kings before playing NCAA Division III lacrosse at LaGrange College during his freshman year. Currently attending the College of Coastal Georgia while pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, Daniel remains actively connected to the game as a certified official with the Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association (GLOA) — giving him a multi-dimensional understanding of the sport that translates directly into his work developing young players with Dirty Birds.
