Daniel Woodbury is a Cobb County native and 2023 graduate of Hillgrove High School. He began playing lacrosse at age 10 through the Hillgrove Recreation League and went on to be a four-year varsity standout. During his time at Hillgrove, Daniel earned Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior, was named team captain as a senior, and was selected to the All-Cobb County Team his senior year.

Daniel competed at the travel level with FCA, Crossfire, and the Atlanta Kings before continuing his playing career at LaGrange College, where he competed at the NCAA Division III level during his freshman year. He currently attends the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, where he is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science.

Although no longer playing, Daniel remains actively involved in the game as a certified official with the Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association (GLOA). He's excited to join the Dirty Birds coaching staff and is looking forward to a great summer on the sidelines.
