Hunter Fisher, Coach

Coach Hunter Fisher enters his eleventh year coaching lacrosse, his sixth year in the classroom, and his fourth year as the Varsity Head Coach at Marietta High School. Under his leadership, the Marietta Men's Lacrosse program has continued to grow in both competitive success and academic achievement. A firm believer in the balance between athletics and academics, Coach Fisher maintains high expectations for his athletes on and off the field, with a team GPA goal of 3.75 or higher.
Coach Fisher’s philosophy is centered on developing the whole athlete—prioritizing mental health, physical development, and academic performance equally. With a background in Education and a focus on leadership, he brings an educator’s mindset to every practice and game, helping his players become outstanding members of their teams, families, and communities.
Since 2015, Coach Fisher has served at multiple programs across Georgia, including Cherokee, Lakeside, Druid Hills, Campbell, and now Marietta, where he is continuing to build a culture of accountability, discipline, and championship-level standards. He also remains involved in youth development through Dirty Birds Lacrosse, helping nurture the next generation of athletes and leaders.
Coach Fisher remains steadfast in his pursuit of a GHSA State Championship and is proud to lead a program defined by effort, character, and growth.
